Ingredients:

  • Frozen Tangyuan: Appropriate amount
  • Jiuniang: 3 spoonfuls
  • Dried Osmanthus: A pinch
  • Rock Sugar: Appropriate amount
  • Goji Berries: A few

Steps:

  1. Add water to a pot and bring to a boil. Add the frozen tangyuan; use the back of a spoon to gently push them to prevent sticking.
  2. Cook until the tangyuan all float to the surface, then turn to low heat and simmer for 1 minute.
  3. Add jiuniang, rock sugar, and goji berries. Simmer on low heat for 30 seconds, stirring until the rock sugar melts.
  4. Turn off the heat, serve in a bowl, and sprinkle with dried osmanthus. Enjoy.

Tips:

  • Do not cook jiuniang for too long to avoid it becoming sour or losing its aroma.
  • Cook on low heat throughout to prevent the tangyuan skin from breaking.
  • Adjust the amount of rock sugar based on personal sweetness preference.
